FUNCTIONS

Presentation Dinner -Tickets - $145 per person
The APLSC 2026 Presentation Dinner will be held at the Rendezvous Perth Scarborough (148 The Esplanade, Scarborough WA 6019).
Ticket includes canapes, 3 course meal and non-alcoholic beverage package for the event. A cash bar will be available for purchasing alcoholic drinks.  
N.B: One Presentation Function Ticket is included in the Athlete Registration (Full) Package.

Under 14 Presentation - Free of charge
The Under 14 Presentation will be held at Perth HPC - Hall of Champions on Thursday 25 June at the conclusion of Day 1 events.

PAYMENT OF FEES

All teams, individuals, coaches / managers and officials will need to register and make payment online for their participation in the Australian Pool Life Saving Championships 2026 prior to the commencement of the Championships.

Any outstanding registrations fees owing on the first day of APLSC 2026 may result in refusal of entry.

Early Bird Registration closes on 17 May 2026.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

A cancellation fee of $35 will be applied for cancellations received up until 10 days before the Australian Pool Life Saving Championships 2026. No refund will be issued for cancellations received less than 10 days before the event. Late requests for refunds due to illness or an emergency will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

OFFICIALS FUNCTION

All Officials are invited to join us at the APLSC 2026 Officials Function to celebrate the hard work and dedication of volunteers that make the APLSC happen. The Officials Function is free for all officials and will include a meal and one drink on arrival. Additional drinks will be at own cost. The Officials function will be held at La Capannina (171 The Esplanade, Scarborough Beach WA 6019).

To attend RSVP is essential. Please be sure to RSVP for the Officials Function via this Registration Process. 

OFFICIALS POSITION PREFERENCES

All officials who register and have a current Working With Children Check (or equivalent from home State or Territory) will be allocated a role at the Championships. As part of the registration process officials will be requested to nominate their preferred officiating positions from the list below:
Speed Roles: Event Director, Deputy Referee, Starter, Check Starter, Tech Judge, Chief Place Judge, Place Judge, Turn Judge, Chief Timekeeper, Timekeeper, Marshall

SERC/CPR Roles: Security, Judge, Timekeeper, Runner, Marshall 

Other roles: First Aid Officer, Competitor Liaison, Recording (includes Chief recorder, point score assistant), Runner, Announcer, Awards Coordinator, Equipment Mover 

NB. Equipment Movers are required to be in the water to assist with setting manikins, moving equipment and other equipment duties as required.

SUBMITTING COMPETITION ENTRIES

Competition entries are submitted by Team Manager ™ Lite program by 31 May 2026.

  • A competitor’s age shall be taken as at the first (1st) of January in the year the Championships are held.
  • The minimum age for APLSC entry is 12 years of age. Therefore, competitors who are 11 years of age on the 1st of January are not permitted to compete in the Under 16 age group but may compete in any Under 14 events. 
  • Under 14 competitors that are eligible (12-13 years) and wish to compete in the Under 16 age group should select the Under 14 and Under 16 registration types.

SERC Register Patient

Volunteers of all ages are needed to act as patients for the Simulated Emergency Response Competition (SERC) on Day 2, Friday 26 June. Are you available? 

Patients will be allocated dry or in-water roles depending on the scenario and will be briefed prior to competition. Volunteers will be provided with food and refreshments throughout the SERC tests.

If you indicate 'YES", you will be contacted separately with further information.

  • Have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC), or state/territory equivalent

Working with Children Check

Working with Children Checks will be verified by RLSSA. 

If you do not currently have a Working with Children Check you will be required to obtain one before the commencement of APLSC2026 and will need to provide this detail to Event Organisers.

If a check is not obtained or current at the time of the APLSC 2026 you will not be able to officiate at the event.

Officials who indicate 'Yes' will be contacted separately with information about the accreditation process. 


Officials Dinner
